Dynamic Digital Security for Therapists and Clients: A Community Conversation

  • On 10/29/2025
  • Starts at 12:00 pm
  • Ends at 1:00 pm
  • Offered Virtually Via Zoom

Training Description:

In the last month, have you been afraid about your online presence, getting doxxed or subpoenaed, the safety of your clients, or other online security concerns related to your work as a therapist? Come to this training to be involved in a dialogue around some accessible, affordable (often free!) best practices for digital security to help you feel more at ease and flexible during increasingly stressful and uncertain political times in the US.

Training Objectives:

  • Determine risk level for digital security concerns, and how that risk level may inform your participation in change work as a community-based therapist.
  • Identify best practices for your own digital security, including encrypted messaging apps, email, telehealth video platforms, and phone numbers; content of notes; diagnosis; and more, to meet the de/evolving political moment in the US.
  • Foster a communal dialogue of best practices, to dynamically meet changing security circumstances.
