Allyship is an ongoing practice. In Part 3 of the series, we move from understanding to action. This session offers practical tools for showing up in everyday moments: using they/them pronouns fluently, intervening in transphobia, holding space for grief or joy, and building ongoing relationships rooted in trust and care.

You will also explore how to keep learning after the training ends (i.e., through media and community engagement), and how to become the kind of person trans people feel comfortable around.

Learning Objectives:

  • Practice using they/them and neopronouns in conversation
  • Learn how to interrupt microaggressions and show up in moments of harm
  • Explore how to hold space without centering yourself
  • Identify tangible steps to keep learning and practicing allyship moving forward

This training prioritizes:

  • Warmth and Grounding: Held in home-like, welcoming spaces that center comfort, accessibility, and connection
  • Shame-Free Learning: Space for real questions, boundary-setting, and loving corrections
  • Relational Process: Emphasis on presence over performance and listening over fixing
  • Reciprocity and Access: Tiered pricing, service trades, and “pay it forward” options
